Jalan Pudu - surveying quatation for banner, menu and pepper shaker.
this morning, i went to Jalan Pudu with Kak Min who is the cafe manager. we went there to surveying few things needed for cafe new renovation and promotion. firstly, we went to Ah Hong shop where he sell all kind of kitchen tools and equipment. So we want to find 1 set of salt and pepper shaker that is practical and cheap. there three design in range price RM 16.50 to RM22.00 per set.We have bargain with Ah Hong to gave the lowest price that he can gave to us. After finish dealing with Ah Hong, we went to Jalan Brunei. there is where located so many printing and design premises. here we wanted to print our new menu and its simple design which could make customer felt more easy to read. We went to Ku Chai Printing, here we ask for quotation printing the menu. they would ask what saiz, material and want to laminate or not. this is because the price and quality is very different. For our menu, we choose A4 size paper which been fold into three section. The designer said it will cost RM 7.00 for A4 size with color. Plus laminating of RM 3.00. total of RM10.00 per piece. so we agree on that price. we take 1 sample printing so can include into proposal for the boss to proof. after all finish, we went back to the office to complete our proposal.

The MAHA Exposition biennial series is Malaysia's leading agricultural show. Hosted by Ministry of Agriculture and Agrobased Industries and organised by the Federation Agriculture Marketing Authority, it certainly is amongst the largest and most comprehensive of its kind in the region, if not in Asia. MAHA 2010 to be held beginning November 26th 2010 and to run over 10 days, is expected to build on the success of MAHA 2008 a show accorded to be the largest Exhibition by the Malaysian Book of Records. A must for all industry stakeholder! this year's show promise novel and technology centric demonstration and exhibits and activities that interest trade visitors as well general public. It is a show that flaunts Malaysia's best producers, farmer, fishermen and stockman. It is also a platform to pitch the regions' best agro-food companies.
the purpose we were sponsor to go there is the managing director wanted us to gain knowledge and to new ideas, recipes and product that can helps the cafe itself. plus this exhibition is mind blowing where there many thing to know, learn explore and develop. the agriculture is huge in our country. at MAHA we only focusing on the F&B sector which is Food and Beverage. this is because we as cafe needed something new and taste that we can share to our customer. this also to find new business contacts that are cheaper, reliable and fast.
at the MAHA, we took as many brochure as we can. we also watch and learn few demonstration by the participant. there also showcase of quipments, solutions and services for the Agriculture, Agro-Based, Horticulture and Agrotourism Industry.
here are the objective of MAHA
- To act as an information centre, for creating awareness on the latest innovation and new technologies to the target groups, with the aim of increasing their agriculture production, standard of living and income.
